Perfect Pinkalicious Party

The Perfect Pinkalicious Party
As Chloe’s 4th birthday gets closer, I’m trying to figure out what we’re going to do for her party this year, all while wondering how the heck it’s possible she’s going to be 4!!!? Last year we had a “Pinkalicious” themed party. For those who don’t know what Pinkalicious is, it’s an adorable book series centered around a girl who goes by the name Pinkalicious; Her absolute favorite color is…you guessed it…PINK! Chloe loooves this series and we’ve collected every book the past couple years.

I wanted to give you the details in case anyone’s interested in throwing a party like this!

Games/Activities
1. Castle Bounce House- I’m not going to lie, these are pretty pricey to rent, but it was TOTALLY worth it. The kiddies were loving it and it provided hours of entertainment.

2. Cupcake Piñata- From Party City- Click here to buy

  1. Pinkalicious Photo Prop- I made this using a foam board from the dollar store and paint/glitter from Michael’s. The jewels on the crown were from Hobby Lobby (but you can find something similar in any craft store). I’ll be honest, I wanted to buy a photo prop online to save time, but unfortunately they aren’t sold anywhere. You’re going to have to do this one yourself, folks. Or ask your artsy neighbor, uncle, friend, mechanic, or whoever is up to the challenge.

  1. Color a Cupcake- I snagged these cupcakes for $1 each at AC Moore.

You could also do “Pin the Cherry on the Cupcake.” I thought it was so cute, but I didn’t have enough time to make it. Here’s a great tutorial to show you how!

Food/Drinks
1. Pink Lemonade- Of course we had to include Pinkalicious’s favorite drink!

  1. Pizza and Hoagies- which have nothing to do with Pinkalicious, but they’re crowd pleasers 😉
  2. Green Food- in case anyone comes down with Pinkititus

  1. The dessert table was totally PINK! We had pink starbursts, jelly beans, lollipops, gum balls, fruit wands, chocolate covered oreos and pretzels (which gave me an excuse to buy the apothecary jars I’ve been dying for), and of course pink cupcakes and cake to match the cover of the book 🙂

Cupcake Stand- Michael’s You can buy it here.
Frame- Hobby Lobby- Click to buy I bought a sheet of pink scrapbook paper with tiaras to print the “Enjoy the Sweet Treats” sign. Easy Peasy.

Goodie Bags
Since there was already so much candy, I decided to keep the goodie bags simple. Every child was given a bag to collect their candy from the pinata and dessert table. Boom. Done.

I ordered Chloe’s shirt on etsy. Click here to buy.

I asked her what she wants to do for her 4th birthday and she said, “I want a purple party!” I think she’s under the impression birthday parties have to be all one color now haha! Oh boy.
